Summer Camps :  :"I Can Be Healthy": YouthCares "I Can Be Healthy" Camp will provide camp participants with a learning experience that will provide positive ways to stay healthy when eating and age appropriate exercises to stay fit.   

STEM Explorers Camp : YouthCares STEM Explorers Camp will provide children with a learning experience to help explore their love of learning in the practical pursuits of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.  

Safety Camp :  YouthCares Safety Camp will provide a learning experience that will teach children how to react in emergency situations through a variety of fun activities and topics such as fire safety, weather safety, CPR techniques and more!  Students will also receive a CPR certificate from a certified CPR instructor.  

 

Empowerment Camp : YouthCares Empowerment Camp will provide camp participants a learning experience that will provide techniques and activities on handling peer pressure, bullying, making positive choices, help build confidence, character, new friendships and building leadership skills.  

Arts & Literacy Camp: YouthCares :Arts &  Literacy Camp will provide a learning experience including but not limited to book reading clubs, spelling bees, creating short stories, art lessons and more!

Game Show Mania Camp :  Game Show Mania Camp will provide each grade level with fun academic questions centered around famous games shows such as Family Feud, Jeopardy & More.

  

Field Trips:    Field trips are scheduled at least once a week unless weather permits for a change.  We will also have extra field trips scheduled in relation to weekly themes or special events around town for the summer at the local library, nearby cities and more!  We have also added swimming days to our field trip list at one of the Hattiesburg city pools, and we will have days we visit the spalsh pad at local parks as well.    Swimming waivers will be provided for each parent to sign if their child will participate.  Days and times will be announced at a later date.

Camp Registration :  To secure you child's slot reservation for summer camp each participant must have a completed registration form and a $150 registration fee received on file before your child attends camp.  The $150 registration fee covers you child's field trips , t - shirt , and supplies for each summer camp.  

Ages :  Summer Camp is for ages 5 - 12 years old.  

Camp Tuition :   Camp Tuition is $120 / week per camp participant who register to attend all camps and $145/week per camp participant for drop in weekly camps.  Sibling discounts are for available: $115 / week per camp participant.  Tuition is due every Monday by 6:00 pm.  YouthCares accepts Paypal : YouthCares, payments on our website, ProCares App, and Cash App :$youthcares.  For tuition not paid on time, a late charge of $10.00 per day will be charged. Additionally, a fee of $35.00 will be charged on checks that are returned by the bank.  Tuition is expected for days your child may be absent due to illness, family emergencies, doctor visits, hospitalizations, vacations, or any other reason. Please note that tuition rates do not change in the event of a week including a holiday.

Drop In Camp Attendee :     For parents interested in their children not attending camp on a weekly basis we do provide that option.  THE DROP IN CAMP RATE IS $145 PER WEEK AND THE CAMP REGISTRATION IS $35 PER CAMP.

Meals :  A light breakfast and snacks are provided daily by YouthCares.  Children are required to bring a sack lunch daily and a water bottle.  No peanuts or peanut butter due to severe allergies.  We will attend the summer lunch feeding programs when it begins if it is offered.  Parents will be notified and it will be optional if students would like to bring a sack lunch.  

Personal Belongings:  No outside belongings, toys, phones, electronics, blankets, pillows, etc, are allowed.  We will not be responsible for lost or broken belongings.
